Licensed Therapist Position (Clinical and Associate)

We are looking for someone that is/can: 

  • A licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT, ALMFT) in the state of IL. Other license types are accepted with experience in marriage and family systems.

  • Provide therapy for couples, families, individuals, and children.  

  • Excited to work systemically and collaborate with a team

  • Motivated to learn more and stay current on research and education in therapeutic approaches.  

  • Familiar with alternative therapy approaches and open to learning, like mindfulness, yoga therapy, or somatic work.

  • In individual therapy or has gone through at least one-year or more of their own therapy.

  • Has experience with all parts of family system: individual, couples and family dynamics.

  • Experienced in diverse family structures and cross-cultural families.

  • Available on some Saturdays and evening hours are required.

  • Candidates interested in working with children and teens are encouraged to apply

Location:

Lakeview Neighborhood of Chicago, however, we are currently only doing telehealth sessions at this time.


COVID protocols:

All therapists are doing telehealth sessions through a HIPAA compliant platform that is provided at this time. Work from home or use our office space to conduct session and meet for our in-person team meetings. We have safety protocols put in place and are always assessing and reassessing our approach. We will be moving to a hybrid model that best works for and supports therapists and clients.


Introspective Family Therapy is a cutting-edge therapy center that is based around restoring the family system, whether it is the couple, individual, child or the whole family. We help and assist clients with trauma, life transitions, and any type of issue that impacts their relationships. We integrate different modalities, using many alternative therapies such as meditation, mindfulness, and body-focused therapy to work with clients. We are all very passionate therapists that love the work we do. 

The right person for this position must be a self-starter and invested in being in a private-practice type setting. There is a case collaboration/team meeting every 2 weeks on Friday morning.
