Healing Intergenerational Patterns
JOIN US FOR HEALING INTERGENERATIONAL PATTERNS!
A new therapy group designed for adult parents and adult children seeking to understand each other’s experiences, learn new ways of communicating, and find deep inner peace.
Regardless of your relationship with your family members, this group brings together an intergenerational mix of individuals who want to unpack generational differences, heal lingering trauma, and tap into new levels of empathy to show up for themselves and those around them.
Through guided reflection, shared stories, and practical tools, we’ll explore boundaries, guilt, empathy, and family patterns.
You’ll leave with greater emotional clarity and confidence to navigate family relationships, especially around the holidays.

Why This Group?
Generational patterns and repeated traumas can shape our relationships, roles, and sense of self. If you feel like you’re stuck in a cycle of anger, frustration, or guilt and you don’t know where to turn, this group is for you.
You don’t need to attend with a family member! What makes this group so unique is that we’ll all work on our collective needs and hurts, learning from the perspectives of others who’ve lived through similar family dynamics.
You’d be a good fit for this if you:
→ Feel stuck replaying old family patterns or conversations that never go anywhere
→ Wish your parent or your child could see how hard you’re trying
→ Struggle with communication, boundaries, or guilt over the holidays
→ Are learning to accept that your parent or child might never change — and you still want to find peace and radical acceptance for them
→ Are ready to feel more grounded, compassionate, and empowered in your family relationships
→ Are curious about different generations think, feel, and communicate
What to Expect?
8 weeks of guided reflection, discussion, and healing. In each session, we’ll blend psychoeducation, practical tools, and shared reflection — so you can connect with others in the space.
Topics explored will include:
→ Understanding inherited family roles
→ Setting boundaries without guilt
→ Stories we were told, and stories we tell ourselves
→ Managing anger, grief, or unmet expectations
→ Disrupting cycles of miscommunication across generations
→ Finding empathy without abandoning yourself
→ Creating closure and peace, even when change feels hard
You’ll leave with:
→ Clearer emotional boundaries
→ Deeper understanding of your own (or your parent’s/child’s) patterns
→ New ideas to approach family conversations
→ A sense of peace and confidence in your story
→ Confidence to navigate the holidays with calm and self-compassion

-
No, not at all! In fact, we’ve intentionally structured this group for individual participation. You’ll connect with others who hold similar family roles — parents, adult children, or both — and gain new perspective from across generations without the pressure of having your own family member in the room.
-
That’s completely okay. Many participants join this group because communication has broken down or feels too painful. This group helps you explore your own healing and find clarity about how to move forward — whether that means reconnecting, setting firmer boundaries, or finding peace with distance.
-
Yes, many people carry unresolved emotions, questions, and grief related to a parent who is no longer available for conversation. With this group, you can process those feelings, build understanding, and begin to heal the internal relationship that lives within you.
-
We intentionally keep our group therapy sessions small, so everyone has space to share, learn from each other, and listen. Each participant sets their own pace. We offer space to reflect quietly, journal, or simply listen until you feel comfortable engaging more openly.
-
While individual therapy focuses on your personal story, this group is focused on helping you see your story and your family’s story through others. Hearing from people in your parent’s or child’s generation helps create empathy, insight, and healing that one-on-one therapy can’t replicate.
-
Absolutely. Our space is a safe, accessible introduction to therapy. If you’re curious about emotional growth or want to improve your family relationships, this is a great place to start!
